Timber, stone and a connection to the canopy.

Designed by Base Architecture and built by Ecostruct, Trees Road was completed in 2022 in Tallebudgera Valley. Timber floors, wall linings and ceilings bring warmth to the interiors, while a full-height stone fireplace anchors the main living space. High windows draw daylight into the room above dark kitchen cabinetry and pale benchtops.

Wide sliding doors connect the living area to a covered timber balcony. Elsewhere, a built-in window seat frames the surrounding greenery, and full-height bathroom glazing brings views of the trees beside the freestanding bath. Stonework, joinery and carefully aligned material junctions give the spaces their character.
