Designed and built by Ecostruct and completed in 2020, Lemon Tree brings together a series of gabled forms within the leafy setting of Currumbin Ecovillage. Warm timber cladding sits alongside darker facades, while glazed connections and generous openings link the interiors with stone-paved and gravel courtyards.
Inside, exposed roof trusses and skylights give the main living spaces a sense of height and light. Changes in floor level define the kitchen, dining and lounge areas without closing them off. Timber joinery, concrete floors and green kitchen tiles carry the material palette through the home, with views to the garden woven into the everyday spaces.
