A home shaped through collaboration.

Designed by Ecostruct in collaboration with the client and built by Ecostruct, Lakeview was completed in 2019 in Currumbin Valley. Exposed timber trusses and brick piers give the interiors a clear structural rhythm, while timber-lined walls and vaulted ceilings bring warmth to the living spaces.

A sculptural spiral stair and a substantial concrete kitchen island sit alongside finely detailed glazing and joinery. Large windows frame the surrounding greenery, and the bedroom carries the same timber and brick palette into the gable. At night, the illuminated roof form reveals the structure within.
